Meet the Mondos
I’ve learned to love teamwork while I learned to write for television. And some of the people I met way back in my rookie days at the German daytime drama “Unter Uns” are my writing partners to this day.

But let me give you a quick introduction to the gang from left to right.
Jörg Alberts
We studied TV and film together, shared a flat during that time and still share our love for movies from India (we actually prefer Tollywood to Bollywood). The first script we wrote together was called “A cheap piece of shit.” I still don’t have a clue why it never sold.
Gerry Streberg @gerrystreberg
We met at a press conference with Steven Spielberg for “Schindler’s List” in 1993 and I made Spielberg sign a photo for Gerry. Of course, we have been friends ever since. In 2016 Gerry joined mondo23 as our resident comedy meister. We also do a podcast about all things mystical.

We also met at “Unter Uns”. Jeanet lives in the hippest part of Berlin, has a son who knows even more about cars than Frank, and she probably could write any script by herself, but is nice enough to let us believe she needs our help.
Frank Koopmann @mondo23fk
He gave me my first TV writing job at “Unter Uns” and in 1999 we ventured into the wild world of German prime time TV as a writing team. He learned to drive at 7 (!) and his meditation is driving any motorized vehicle for endless hours. No wonder we wrote tons of episodes for “Cobra 11 – The Highway Police”.
It’s a miracle to find even one writing partner that you can work with all your life, to have found four of them still boggles my mind and I’m eternally grateful for each and every one of them.
